“Christmas Tree” was grown at “Cub Creek Farm”, in the
heart of Central Virginia’s Nelson County. Located only
5 miles from Wintergreen Ski Resort.
The farm was started in 1981 by Ron and Lynn Bean and
has grown trees since that time. Ron and Lynn operate a
family choose and cut tree farm . The customer base is
made up mostly of individuals and families that cherish
the tradition of selecting their own fresh; naturally
grown tree. The children in the family usually make the
selection, with Dad or a farm hand actually cutting the
tree.
Cub Creek Farm grows several varieties of Christmas
Trees: Currently featuring White Pine, Colorado Blue and
Norway Spruce and Canaan Fir, and scotch pine.
Directions:
Cub Creek Farm is actually in Massies Mill
approximately 1 mile off route 56, half-way between
Charlottesville and Lynchburg.
Hours:
Sunday through Friday 1 pm to 5 pm
and Sat. 9 am to 5 pm |
