LaRon Farm is a small, family operation. The Hokes bought their farm in 1990, and planted Christmas tree seedlings the next year thinking it was an easy way to use their land. As they soon found out, Christmas trees don’t grow to be Christmas trees without lots of help. Ron takes care of all the mowing, shearing and tender loving care himself. During the holiday season he and his wife, Lorraine, make and decorate fresh wreaths using cuttings from the less desirable trees. Their friends and family graciously help them out during the selling season. The Hokes are proud to have been providing families with quality choose and cut trees for eight years. Our customers know they have the freshest tree possible. The Hokes are members of the Virginia Christmas Tree Growers Association, where Ron previously served on the Board of Directors.
Christmas trees are a renewable resource. For every tree sold on our farm, we plant three to five seedlings to replace it. Thank you for buying products grown by the farmers of
America.
