Visiting a tree farm to choose & cut your own tree is a Christmas tradition for many families.
Farm Hours: 9 a.m. - dark, Thursday - Sunday, from Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve.
Directions: From Richmond: Take Route 60 West towards Powhatan. Turn Right onto Trenholm Road/US-629 (Old Tavern Junction Store) and go 4.7 miles to dead end. Turn Left onto Cartersville Road and go 3.2 miles. Keep straight at stop sign for Route 45/Cartersville Road and go 1 mile. Turn Left beside New Hope Church and follow gravel road to farm. From Richmond (West End): Take Patterson Avenue/US-6 West (becomes River Road West/US-6). When you pass Goochland High School on Right go 9.1 miles. Turn Left at George's Tavern onto Route 45/Cartersville Road and go 6.4 miles. Turn Right to stay on Route 45/Cartersville Road and go 1 mile. Turn Left beside New Hope Church and follow gravel road to farm.
