About the Farm:
Mountain View Farm is located in the scenic Shenandoah Valley and, as the name suggests, affords exceptional panoramic views of the mountains.  The Christmas tree farm began in 2001 as we started replacing cattle pasture and crop fields with Christmas trees.  We presently have 18 different species of trees growing, and continue to experiment with new species.  Steve and Sharon have been active members of the Virginia Christmas Tree Growers Association since 1998.
We get a lot of satisfaction from producing a highly recyclable, biodegradable product.  We also grow our trees in an environmentally friendly manner by practicing no-till farming and using pesticides and fertilizers only as a last resort.

Directions:
Easy!!!  Turn off I-81 at Woodstock (exit 283).  Go south on Senedo Road (Rt. 42) for 3.5 miles. Turn left onto Rittenour Road (Rt. 679), and go 0.2 miles to farm on the right.
