Doris and I have been growing Christmas trees since 1999. Our farm is nestled in the rolling hills of Madison County with great views of Thoroughfare and Hume mountains. As you enter our gate and slowly drive the next half mile or so on our single lane gravel road, you'll experience the beauty and simplicity of the Virginia countryside. Turn right at the sign to our Christmas Tree fields and parking lot. We'll supply the saws. You supply the elbow grease. If you want to take the easy way out, we have fresh pre-cut Fraser Firs. Come on out and experience the Christmas season the old fashion way. We have a Christmas shop (music supplied) with wreaths, many vintage Christmas items as well as pottery by our daughter-Stephanie. We offer free tree shaking, baling, hot cider and chocolate. We are open on weekends only between Thanksgiving and Christmas from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. |

Directions: We are located about 14 miles South of Culpeper and 33 miles North of Charlottesville in the Brightwood area of Madison County. From Charlottesville, turn right on Route 630 (left if coming from Culpeper). Route 630 is also known as Thoroughfare Road. Proceed 1.7 miles to the "T" intersection and turn right on Route 629 (Spring Branch Road). Proceed 3/10th mile and turn left on Route 699 (Lester Utz Lane). Go another 4/10 mile to the gate on the left for Spruce Rock Farm. |
